Clinical Supervision

Although clinical supervision is mandatory for counsellors and psychotherapists, it can also be very supportive for a range of other helping professionals, and people working in health, social care or education.

Working with me
As a creative arts psychotherapist, I bring creativity into my supervision session using perceptual positions from my DMP training at University of Roehampton, and the seven-eyed model from Hawkins and Shohet.

I completed the Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision (including Online and Telephone Working) in December 2023. I also bring several years’ experience of managing teams and counselling services, along with teaching counselling skills in adult education.

Online supervision
Due to my training in online supervision, I have a particular interest in providing supervision online and in supporting professionals who are working with clients online.

Accreditation
I am a registered clinical supervisor with the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP) and the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK (ADMP UK). Please check with your accrediting body what their supervision requirements are.

Consultation

I can offer one-off or short-term support in several areas. If you are a counsellor or therapist looking for additional support or consultation on your work with:

clients living with and beyond cancer
visible difference – a mark, scar or condition which causes the face or body to look different
skin (dermatology) conditions
clients who identify as autistic

I am an experienced trainer, working with staff and volunteer groups to explore subjects such as:

mental health
professional boundaries
wellbeing & resilience
grief, loss & bereavement
dementia awareness

I can also provide one-off or ongoing workplace support for staff members.
