I danced from an early age, studying ballet, tap dance and musical theatre, but it wasn’t until I started dancing and performing again as an adult that I became really interested in the use of the body and of character work - to communicate; to explore different aspects of someone’s personality; and to relate to someone else’s experience.

Through training as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist (RDMP) I was able to deepen my understanding of these ideas and explore how expressive movement could be used as a psychotherapeutic treatment to support people experiencing emotional, psychological, or physical health issues.

My psychotherapy experience includes working with people of all ages, from newborn to centenarian, and I am committed to providing inclusive, non-judgemental support - particularly for people who may have experienced stigma or discrimination. As an integrative, creative arts psychotherapist, I make use of different approaches depending on the needs of the person.

I work with clients from different backgrounds; neurodivergent people (e.g. children with autism); LGBT+ children, young people and adults; and people from BAME backgrounds. I am happy to discuss if you have any concerns about accessibility needs or cultural needs.

I am fully insured, and have an enhanced DBS clearance. I am a full, registered member of the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK (ADMP UK) and I abide by their code of ethics and professional practice.

Psychosexual Therapy

Since qualifying as a creative arts psychotherapist in 2013, I have been drawn to working with people exploring their relationship with their body & their identity. This has included working with people affected by significant health issues which have interrupted their lives, relationships, and their sexual pleasure.

This has led me to training in sex & relationship therapy - or psychosexual therapy - with the CICS Diploma in Clinical Sexology and Relationship Therapy. Psychosexual therapy is a highly-specialised form of talking therapy - there is no touching involved, and everyone is fully-clothed at all times.

Psychosexual therapy can be booked as individual sessions (1-to-1) or partnered sessions (2 or more people who are in a relationship). I will be a trainee  psychosexual therapist under supervision, until early 2026.

To express an interest in either individual or partnered psychosexual therapy , please contact me by sending a message.

The aim of psychosexual therapy can either focus on reducing worries & sexual function issues, or on increasing pleasure & exploring someone's erotic world.

Psychosexual Issues

Common worries about sexual functioning can include:

  • Low sexual desire - for people of all genders

  • Pain during sex or penetration

       (including vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, anodyspareunia)

  • Erection or ejaculation issues - for people with a penis

(including unreliable erections (ED), premature ejaculation, delayed            ejaculation)

  • Sex & intimacy after illness or surgery, including after cancer

  • Sexual health concerns, including HIV

I am able to support people wanting to explore how autism, ADHD, or other forms or neurodivergence might be impacting on sexual intimacy.

I can also offer space for people wanting to talk about any issues relating to kink, BDSM, sex-work, or their inner erotic world.
